Skip Carney
Growing up in Fayetteville, Arkansas, Skip Carney was constantly surrounded by opportunities to give back to the community. Not only did the local university encourage civic engagement, but his mother, who was designated the first lifetime member as PTA president at his elementary school, set a standard that Skip was encouraged to follow.

Welcome

  • Are you a baby boomer looking forward to retirement and wondering what you will do in your “bonus years”?
  • Are you interested in beginning a new career, traveling, learning, and staying healthy?
  • Do you want to contribute your skills, talents, and experience to your community in ways that make a difference in people’s lives?
  • Would you like to meet others on the same quest for fulfillment through self-discovery?

America’s front-line baby boomers are approaching a life stage that was virtually unknown to our parents. It happens after the kids are grown and careers wind down, but well before boomers are ready to actually retire. To this next chapter of life, boomers bring good health, vast experience, and abundant energy. We are the first generation in our country’s history that can look forward to 20, 30, or more bonus years to pursue dreams yet to be realized.

If you are a boomer—or even if you just think like one—Mesa Life Options (MLO) can introduce you to the people, programs, and places that will inspire you to imagine your possibilities. MLO’s website is teeming with options for an exciting journey into your future.
